These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Retraite Eveil community platform at app.retraite-eveil.com (the "Community") and the Retraite Eveil mobile application that connects to it (the "App"). The Community is operated by Damien Soitout Holdings, a company located in Cyprus, trading as Retraite Eveil ("we", "us").

The Community is a private, invitation-only online space for retreat guests and invited members. It supports post-retreat integration, reflection, and peer connection. It is not a public social network, marketplace, or medical service.

These Terms are separate from the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy of our retreat booking website at retraite-eveil.com, which govern retreat registration, payment, and health questionnaires. Where both apply, read them together.

1. Acceptance

By accessing the Community, setting a password, logging in, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Community Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Community.

2. Eligibility and access

2.1 Who may use the Community

Access is limited to:

• Retreat guests whose ticket on retraite-eveil.com is paid, whose health questionnaire is complete, and whose ticket has been approved by our team; and
• Invited users manually approved by Retraite Eveil administrators.

Public self-registration is disabled. You must be 18 years or older.

2.2 How access is granted

After eligibility is confirmed on the shop, we create or locate a Community account using the email address and name on your retreat ticket and add you to relevant groups (retreat alumni and language communities). You set your Community password separately — it is not the same as your retraite-eveil.com shop password unless you choose to reuse it.

2.3 Voluntary use

Community access is an optional integration benefit included with eligible retreat bookings. You are not required to use the Community to attend your in-person retreat.

2.4 Access may end

We may suspend or remove access if your ticket is cancelled or refunded, your account breaches these Terms, we reasonably believe you pose a safety or legal risk, or we discontinue the Community. See section 14.

3. Your account

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential;
• All activity under your account;
• Using the email address associated with your approved ticket or invitation;
• Notifying us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

Profile information you add (photo, biography, posts) must be accurate and must not impersonate others.

4. Community spaces

The Community is organised into spaces (groups), for example alumni groups for your retreat type and language-based communities. Membership is assigned automatically based on your booking and profile language, or by administrators. Space content is visible to members of that space and to administrators — not to the general public.

Do not share space content, screenshots, or personal stories of other members outside the Community without their explicit consent, except where disclosure is required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Community respectfully and lawfully. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or dox other members or staff;
• Publish illegal content or content that encourages illegal activity;
• Share content that is sexually exploitative, violent, or hateful;
• Provide medical diagnoses, prescribe treatments, or present yourself as a licensed healthcare professional unless you are one and that role is clearly authorised by Retraite Eveil in writing;
• Encourage unsafe psychedelic use, sourcing of illegal substances, or microdosing protocols contrary to applicable law;
• Spam, scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass access controls;
• Use the Community for unsolicited commercial promotion without our written permission;
• Upload malware or interfere with platform security or performance.

6. Psychedelic experiences and wellbeing

Many members discuss psilocybin retreat experiences. You acknowledge that:

• Retraite Eveil retreats use psilocybin truffles in the Netherlands in a structured group setting. The Community is for integration and peer support, not for conducting ceremonies, selling substances, or replacing professional care;
• Posts and comments are personal perspectives, not medical advice. Consult qualified professionals for health decisions;
• Sharing integration experiences may involve sensitive personal information — consider your own privacy and that of others before posting.

7. User-generated content

7.1 Your content

You retain ownership of content you post (text, images, files, comments). By posting, you grant Damien Soitout Holdings a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the Community and App for the purpose of operating the service. This licence ends when content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup retention.

7.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for content you publish. Do not post content you do not have the right to share.

7.3 No confidentiality guarantee

Although the Community is private to members, you should not treat it as a clinical or legally privileged confidential record. Administrators and moderators may access content for support, safety, and legal compliance.

8. Moderation

We may review, remove, or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or community safety standards, with or without notice. We are not obliged to monitor all content but may do so. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent removal.

9. Mobile app and notifications

The Retraite Eveil App (iOS/Android) provides a native interface to this Community. Push notifications (for example new messages or mentions) require your device permission and use Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can disable notifications in device or app settings. App use is subject to these Terms and the App store terms of Apple or Google where applicable.

10. Intellectual property

Retraite Eveil branding, platform design, and materials we provide remain our property or our licensors'. You may not copy or reuse them outside the Community without permission. The Community is a dedicated Retraite Eveil service; some platform components may include third-party software used under licence.

11. Third-party services

The Community relies on infrastructure and services including hosting, Amazon S3 and CloudFront for media storage, Cloudflare, and Firebase for push delivery. Their use is subject to their respective terms and our Privacy Policy.

12. Privacy

We process personal data as described in our Community Privacy Policy. Shop-side booking and health questionnaire data are covered by the retraite-eveil.com Privacy Policy.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your Community access at any time if you breach these Terms, if your retreat ticket is cancelled or refunded, if we discontinue the service, or for operational or legal reasons. You may stop using the Community at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (including content licences granted for operational backups, liability limits, and governing law) survive termination.

14. Disclaimer and liability

The Community and App are provided as is for peer support and integration. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Damien Soitout Holdings is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Community, reliance on member content, or interactions with other users. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance unless mandatory law requires otherwise. We may ask you to re-confirm updated legal texts on next login where the platform supports it.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts competent for Damien Soitout Holdings in Cyprus unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
